Thing 9
I had never been on You Tube before now. My kids have shown me some videos, but I have not explored it until now. People could spend a lot of time on there (like every other web site we've learned about), but I didn't think it was wonderful. Maybe I'm not into watching amateur videos about nothing. I'm really not quite sure how this could be incorporated into the classroom, especially since You Tube is blocked in our district.

Thing 8

I actually had a lot of fun with this "thing". My kids were getting involved too. I had a little input creating the interest lines for my magazine. This "thing" definitely is a time consumer, but on a very cold, windy and rainy day it was fun. Again, there is so much more "out there" than I ever imagined. It's no wonder kids spend hours upon hours on the computer, but accomplish nothing but the knowledge that I may be learning in this class.

Thing 7
I enjoyed this "Thing". Doing anything with photos is definitely my interest. I actually didn't have any issues doing this "Thing". I will be coming back to Flickr and doing lots of great things with some of my photos. I will be spending some of my summer vacation on Flickr.
As for Flickr in the classroom, I can see it maybe being useful in a high school art classroom. I suppose it could be used with a blog assignment to document a subject over a period of time, such as a science project. There are probably many other useful ways to use it, but I'm thinking personally and selfishly.
